Blood Coagulation Analyzer
Brand: BIOBASE
Product: Blood Coagulation Analyzer
Models: BK-CA02 | BK-CA04
Accurate and efficient coagulation testing is an important part of laboratory diagnostics, particularly when evaluating the blood-clotting process and supporting routine haemostasis testing. A coagulation analyser automates key testing steps, helping laboratory professionals obtain consistent results while reducing manual handling and simplifying routine workflows.
The BIOBASE Benchtop Automated Coagulation Analyser BK-CA02 / BK-CA04 uses optical colorimetry to detect coagulation endpoints following the reaction between plasma and the appropriate reagent. The system is designed for routine determination of Prothrombin Time (PT), Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (APTT), Thrombin Time (TT) and Fibrinogen (FIB).
Available in two configurations, the BK-CA02 provides two independent test channels, while the BK-CA04 provides four independent test channels, allowing different coagulation tests to be processed simultaneously. Both models combine touchscreen operation, temperature-controlled incubation, built-in result storage, thermal printing and LIS-compatible communication in a compact benchtop design.
-
OPTICAL COLORIMETRY DETECTION: Uses optical colorimetry to monitor changes during the coagulation reaction and determine the coagulation endpoint.
-
MULTIPLE COAGULATION TESTS: Supports routine testing of PT, APTT, TT and FIB, covering commonly required coagulation parameters in clinical laboratories.
-
DUAL OR FOUR INDEPENDENT CHANNELS: The BK-CA02 provides 2 channels, while the BK-CA04 provides 4 channels, allowing different test projects to be processed at the same time.
-
HIGH-DEFINITION COLOUR TOUCHSCREEN: Features a 7-inch high-definition colour touch screen designed for convenient operation and clear display of testing information.
-
CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE INCUBATION: Detection and incubation positions operate at 37.0 ± 1.0°C, supporting controlled conditions for coagulation testing.
-
MULTIPLE INCUBATION POSITIONS: Provides dedicated sample and reagent incubation positions to support efficient preparation and processing during routine laboratory testing.
-
AUTOMATIC MEASUREMENT TRIGGER: The pipette automatically triggers measurement, with measurement timing designed to provide precision to tenths of a second.
-
LOW REAGENT CONSUMPTION: Uses a minimum reagent dosage of 20 μL, helping support efficient reagent use during routine testing.
-
FAST ROUTINE DETECTION: Normal sample detection can typically be completed within 20–40 seconds, with the detection period adjustable according to testing requirements.
-
LARGE RESULT STORAGE CAPACITY: Stores up to 200,000 test results, with measurement data automatically retained when the instrument is powered off.
-
BUILT-IN THERMAL PRINTER: Provides convenient on-site printing of test results for laboratory documentation and record keeping.
-
LIS COMPATIBILITY: An RS232 serial interface supports connection with a Laboratory Information System (LIS), helping integrate coagulation testing into digital laboratory workflows.
-
COMPACT BENCHTOP DESIGN: The compact footprint makes the analyser suitable for laboratories requiring automated coagulation testing without the space requirements of larger floor-standing systems.
-
TWO CONFIGURATION OPTIONS: The BK-CA02 and BK-CA04 allow laboratories and procurement teams to select the appropriate channel capacity according to testing volume and workflow requirements.
PROFESSIONAL COAGULATION TESTING APPLICATIONS
